Three crafts, one workshop

An artisan pressing a hand-carved wooden block onto cotton fabric during printing

Hand Block Printing

Hand-carved teak blocks are dipped in natural pigment and pressed, motif by motif, along the length of the cloth. Every small shift of the hand stays visible in the finished repeat.

Two artisans pulling a squeegee across a silkscreen on a long fabric printing table

Screen Printing

For larger repeats, our printers pull ink across a hand-cut silk screen on a forty-foot table. It lets a single motif travel cleanly across bed linen and totes without losing its handmade edge.

An artisan doing fine aari hook embroidery with gold and pink thread on a wooden frame

Hand Embroidery & Aari Work

Aari is worked with a fine hook from beneath stretched fabric, building chains of silk thread into dense florals. It is the slowest of our crafts and the one our master artisans are proudest of.
